Paweł Tarnowski achieved a major victory, winning the gold medal in the European iQFoil Championships held off the coast of Cagliari. The Polish sailor dominated early, winning the first two races and maintaining a strong lead throughout the competition. In the final race, Tarnowski sealed his victory, with British sailors Andy Brown and Matthew Barton taking silver and bronze.
Valkevich Shines with Bronze in Women’s Event
Anastasiya Valkevich delivered a stellar performance, securing the bronze medal in the women’s division. Despite early success, winning four out of five initial races, she struggled midway through the competition but rebounded strongly in the knockout phase. Israel’s Daniela Peleg took the gold, with Norway’s Maya Gysler finishing second.

In the men’s category, Tarnowski stood atop the podium, followed by Brown and Barton. On the women’s side, Peleg claimed gold, Gysler silver, and Valkevich proudly took home the bronze for Poland.
