In their 2024/2025 home debut, #VolleyWrocław triumphed with a convincing 3-0 win over ITA TOOLS Stal Mielec (25:20, 26:24, 25:23) in the second round of the Polish volleyball league.
Under the guidance of new coach Bartłomiej Dąbrowski, the Wrocław team showcased strong offensive play, led by standout performances from Diaris Perez and Wiktoria Kowalska, while keeping control of the game despite a competitive fight from the visiting Mielec side.
Tight Contest in Second and Third Sets
After comfortably winning the first set, Wrocław struggled to maintain their lead in the second set as Stal Mielec capitalized on errors, forcing a close battle that ended 26:24 in favor of the home team. The final set saw Stal Mielec briefly take a lead, but a strong performance from Anna Lewandowska and crucial plays from Anna Bączyńska and Oliwia Sieradzka helped VolleyWrocław secure the win.
Martyna Łazowska Named MVP
Martyna Łazowska was awarded MVP of the match for her solid all-around performance, contributing four points, including three from blocks and one ace, as VolleyWrocław claimed their first home victory of the season.
