Johnson’s career saw her playing for various teams, including Moya Radomka Radom in the 2020/2021 season. Her time in Poland was cut short as she had to focus on her health battle. Her determination saw her undergoing intensive treatment, after which she made a successful comeback to volleyball in August 2022, joining the Spanish club CD Heidelberg. This comeback highlighted her resilience and passion for the sport, inspiring many.

Her return was celebrated as a testament to her strength and love for volleyball.
